Converter isn't working for me. My question is two-fold. First, the board is very dangerous with a straight and flush very likely, but I have the redraw to the nut flush on the turn - I 4-bet here here because of this but is there a better course of action here. The BB checks to me when the river blanks (I consider the K a blank as it does not pair the board, make a straight more likely or put 4 to a flush on the board), I check here because of the cap on the turn. I do not think betting here has any value. Any opinions on that?$0.50/$1 Texas Hold'em - Thursday, August 04, 15:26:30 EDT 2005Table Table 13957 (Real Money)Total number of players : 10CO posts small blind [$0.25].BB posts big blind [$0.50].** Dealing down cards **Dealt to HERO [ As Ad ]CO calls [$0.50].HERO raises [$1].SB folds.BB calls [$0.50].CO calls [$0.50].** Dealing Flop ** [ 6d, 5c, 7d ]BB checks.CO checks.HERO bets [$0.50].BB calls [$0.50].CO calls [$0.50].** Dealing Turn ** [ 9d ]BB bets [$1].CO folds.HERO raises [$2].BB raises [$2].HERO raises [$2].BB calls [$1].** Dealing River ** [ Kc ]BB checks.HERO checks.

I don't raise the turn. Who cares if you have the nut flush draw. A 4th diamond on the end will surley kill your action. Try to get there cheep, as your are already behind.

I thought the BB might perceive my raise from the button as a steal attempt here, and perhaps caught a piece of the flop or maybe had an overpair. I did not think I was behind on the turn until the BB called the cap bet. Either way, I see your point about trying to see the river card cheap here.

you put in 4 BB on the turn with a scary board and a BB that woke up, with just a pair - albeit a great pair. However, you're cap caused him to slow down, fearing a flush (or higher flush), I'd presume.I'm not sure what the best action is.Really depends on BB prepensicty to bluff and the value he puts on certain hands. Hard to imagine you don't need to hit at least trips, to win.Maybe you have outs to Aces Up...as well.

I use this one...it's a lot less buggy http://www.zerodivide.cx/converter/
Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.
