do i wait to the turn to raise?

bodog 1/2 10 max table full tablemp1 with k q its limped to me i raise it to 2 bucks 4 callersflop is 9 k 4 bb leads out with a bet...2 callers I raise and everybody callsturn is 2 checked to me i bet and get 3 callersriver 8 i bet bb calls...total pot 31 BBmy question is..shoul di have waited to the turn to raise or was i right to attempt to drive out some from the pot (not that it worked haha) or am i over thinking this

don't wait for the turn. your hand isn't nearly that strong and the pot isn't nearly that big.aseem

You're not just raising to drive others out of the pot. You're raising because you probably have the best hand and definately like winning as much money as possible.
