Blink20 0
I haven't made a post yet where I didn't show what my move was, but I think this one is interesting. I'll take you through my play up until my turn decision. Ofcourse, people will frown upon the preflop call, but every now and then I like to play a hand like this. Still, my seeing the flop % is really low, esp for a six max table, but I don't mind making plays every now and then, I think they are good if you use them sparingly.I also usually will raise with a hand like this in position on the flop. But I thought a smooth call would add more deception, make him think I was trying to trap him.I don't have specific numbers on this opponent, I only track one key table with my poker office. But I know from playing him is he decently solid. Though, does like to see some flops and will usually fire continuation bet on flop if raised pre.PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (6 handed) converterUTG ($28.65)MP ($85.30)CO ($46.40)Hero ($104.20)SB ($69.25)BB ($74.35)Preflop: Hero is Button with [7d], [Td]. 1 fold.Flop: ($13.50) [5d], [8c], [9h] (3 players)MP bets $11, CO folds, Hero calls $11.Turn: ($35.50) [3h] (2 players)MP checks, Hero ..... ....Ian.... 0
weird check......i'd actually push there about 2/3 pot and try to take it there.if he calls you still got outs and even if you miss you can push the rest in on the river if he checks to you.
