Thats how i would play it. How crazy is raising the turn and folding to a 3 bet... just an idea i thought of.

I should also mention that if a blank comes on the turn (like an offsuit 5), I was still think of calling down. Too tentative?

I don't like the preflop raise.Flop three bet is fine.I want to raise the turn, but I usually just call here when faced with a donk bet - folding to a three bet with outs to a full house is wrong.

Hmm...if you raise the turn any donkey will call you when you are beat and will probablly fold if they don't have you beat. I would probablly just call the turn and river. However, I would not have raised preflop.

What do you think you are getting to fold to a turn raise that capped the flop against the preflop raiser. The worst he could have is two pair. Wouldnt be suprised if he flopped a straight or set. He has to see the river and you have a decision of whether to bet river or not. Im 90 % sure you were beat even before turn, but you are just hemorraging money if you raise because you will probably commit yourself to at least calling river if you raise and he calls. I dont see a hand that youcould beat or bluff. I would fold preflop, but I prefer raising to calling unless the whole table is very loose.

I think 3-betting the flop is key because once he caps it you should know your beat and its a definite fold (at least at a higher limt) when that turn comes. I understand the call down just to be sure at .25/.50 though. He either flopped the straight or has AJ, or 1010 or JJ... only hands he might cap with that your beating are AK (until the turn) AQ (also until the turn) or J10 unless hes just being crazy . At a higher limit thats what i'd be thinking. I dont know how .25/.50 limit players play or if there are a bunch of people that just raise/reraise like that with nothing just to be annoying.what happened at the showdown?
