I have recently been playin a lot of 1-2 on Party Poker and although a lot of the tables are a Jungle were the only buttons clicked are raise or fold I came across a tightish table!! After playing for near an hour and up about $10 I came across this hand.I had A6o in the small blind.Seat 4 made it 2 bets and seat 5 made it 3.I decided A6o was prob no good and could not justify a $2.50 call so I fold.Seat 4 then makes it 4 bets to go and boy am I glad I folded. Seat 5 calls the cap and we have a flop.Flop comes : AA4 rainbow. (Why did I fold????)Suprisingly the betting is capped again and I begin to think my 6 would have been no good. And wonder if we have AK Vs KK!!Turn card brings another blank and im near certain my 6 would be no good as betting gets capped again!!!!!Ok one of them may have the A but what the hell does the other guy have???River card brings the final A!!! I folded Quads!!! Aaaagghh!!!!Knowing that neither of these guys had the Ace I was not suprised to see the bettin capped again.What did they have???Kings and Queens respectivly!!!!Seemed like crazy play by the 2 players involved.What do u think??

Crazy play? They managed to scare off you and your ace!

The play is crazy at those tables... but they both had hands worth capping pre-flop with, so the move was ok there... after the flop, you figure someone would have been a little hesitant but they are insane at those tables.

personally I'm sick of party poker, I've found myself on the wrong end of so much bad play it makes me sick. Yeah, of course I encourage it, but when it knocks me out of a big tournament, it makes me sick. Just today, I'm playing my Step 5 of a Step Tourny. A player raises in the small blind, I move all-in with Aces in the big blind and get called by 89 offsuit, and he hits a straight on the turn. Another play, I raise with KK in early position, player on the button re-raises and I push all-in and he calls with AJ offsuit and he catches a boat. I can handle playing against bad players when it comes to a cash game, but when it comes to tournaments, it pisses you off.

Coudln't agree more... at least you can get it back in a cash game... stupid plays really burn me up in tourney's too.Man, I even lost with AA against AK in a tourney... talk about pissed!!

The 1-2 games arent bad if you are patient - if you play one table I suggest playing the 6player max games - you can feel out the table better that way and you will be able to play more hands pre-flop

Seemed like crazy play by the 2 players involved. If you don't understand their play, something's wrong.I'd have played it the same.Party 1-2 is insanely easy to beat.

This is for Party( poop )poker. Playing on a sng$5.00 table. I was not in the hand I saw 3 people battle it out. Two of the players had AA,s and the other had KK,s. and an other had jj,s everyone went in and the aa,s got a piece of the pie. I deposited $50.00 2 nights ago played (2) $20.00 sng came in second for 60.00 each ,played a $10.00 sng came in 3rd for 15.00 played in reg cash game 2/4 lost and 1/2 lost and .50/1.00 lost. played 4 more $5.00sng lost could not get hand was very patient till blinds started to eat me up. but still only played A/Q,J,J 10/10 8/8s lost with everyone of those hands nothing and I mean nothing held up. It was really weird. I thought maybe I sucked now I,m almst sure of it that I suck. I,ve taken some real bad beats and I,ve also given others some real bad beats so I figure I,m even there. I had dreams of playing poker and doing some thing wonderful like make enough money for kids inheratence. Well forget that. I only play low limits (really) low. I feel if I can consistenly win a hand I,ll go to the next level like 3/6 or 4/8 and after that maybe my dream 5/10 10/20 but after these sessions with online poker. I ,m about ready to dump my puter in the trash. Partypoker got dumped in the little wastebasket that is on my puter. UB is next been playing there get disgusted but some how manage a small check from them once in a blue moon. Tried Pokerstars made a few dollars but dumped them because they cheated me out of a few $$ when they sent me a check I fought with them but did me no good so I deleted them. Boy that delete button sure has been used lately.Played on Paradise for a long time but went to UB. also way back played at Mike Caro, site forgot the name. Any way I,m thinking of a new hobby like knitting or crocheting or back to my old hobby SHOPPING. Well thanks for letting me get all that out I feel better all ready well back to the games. Tess.
