Not if you actually want to make money or win the tournament. But then again, it seems like people like this SIK crap for some strange reason.

Don't mock what you don't understand.I got dealt the sik the other day in the BB and no-one raised the pot so I got to see the flop which came down 9-9-3.About half an hour later I got dealt Big Sik (in spades) again in the BB and flopped a flush.Maybe there is something in it after all
If it wasn't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all.

There is a thread on one of the forums here about a new "cult" which proclaims the power of the 93 starting hand in poker.9-3 offsuit is known as Sik and 9-3 suited in known as Big Sik.I assumed that's why you picked those two cards but I guess you were just talking about any two crap cards.
If it wasn't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all.

In fact sik can work on more levels than one. After the first hand i talked about above i typed a message "all fear the power of the sik".I got several replies along the lines of "sik followers are fish"I tightened up my play after this, but most people at the table, thinking I was a fish, loosened up against me so I got some decent action when I did catch some good starting hands later on :D

LOL. I had no idea... I just picked two crappy cards, didn't want to say the obvious 7 2 off. So this hand has special powers huh? I would agree, in a 9-high deck.

My table is way short handed and I looked twice at suited big-sick.K23 flops, 3 on the turn, 9 on the river. Should have played it =P, the AK guy would have probably given me nice action.
