bassplayer45459 0
I have been conflicted on whether to play hands which are non suited. Such as a starting hand of K 2 3 4 all different suits, now john cernuto says and hand with 3 wheel cards is playable, but i was wondering what your all hand requirements are, do you want ot only go if you can atlesat make a hi hand? amorrs 0
I don't think you should play a 3 card wheel without and ace. A 34 or A45 are ok but 345 would be very risky.

You'd need an ace to flop to make your nut low draw, and then you need more low cards to give you a shot at the high pot. I dunno, I think without the flush chances, this is a fold. joeltebbutt 0
Even if I had k234 double suited I wouldn't play it. Non nut flushes are big trouble in omaha games and you need to flop an ace and more to have a chance of scooping.
JesseW316 0
Don't play this hand!Starting hand requirements:A240 point handsThree wheel cards with an AFour Wheel cards
joeltebbutt 0
Even a naked ace 2 is a trouble hand. You cna lose big pots withthese if you get counterfitted and will more often then not get quarterd. If you do play an ace 2 without any counterfit protection you want some serious chance of going high
Omahajunky 0
I say this kinda of hand is playable based strictly on number of people in the hand and postion... if your 1 off the button, or on the button with 2 or less in the pot infront of you i think its a reasonable hand to consider playing cheaply (1 bet) cause odds are that theres the potential for altest one ace being in the remaining cards with that few people in the pot...as a side note had this hand on the button tonight and ended up scooping with a wheel flopped my A and 5 turned a
JacKingOff_suit 0
If you have a bunch of players limped in ahead of you, or if you know if you limp then there will be several other limpers , then play it.If you know you are playing against players like the posters above and you have position, (re)raise it, even it's raised before you, for real. The last thing you want to be is a readable tight rock. Rocketwadster 0
Only play hands that give you a possibility to scoop the pot. That isnot to say that you shouldnt play hands like 10 j q king double suited (or single suited), but the hand you used as an example is a bad one to be playing, unless you have position. 8)
deadlysyns 0
Its limit O/8.I would play it in late position with alot of callers in front of me.
garamond10pt 0
I would play it in late position with alot of callers in front of me.It's definitely depends on the game. If it's a loose/passive game, you can come with with weaker one-way low hands, like any A2 or 234, since there's so much money pumped in every pot.
bdc30 0
I would play it in late position with alot of callers in front of me.I would think just the opposite. With a lot of callers, wouldn't youassume the chances of flopping an ace to be diminished??What do you think all these guys are calling with?

But I guess you haven't played limit O8 much. I played it from $1/$2 to $5/$10, those players were horrible, many (I meant many) players play junk hands like 779K rainbow, 269Q suited all the time at any position. May be it's just my experience. Smasharoo 0
The last thing you want to be is a readable tight rock. This is totally and completely irrelevant in limit O8.Completely.Your VP$IP in limit O8 should be around 15.That said, three to a wheel is playable in most games *if you play well after the flop*. As I said in another post, some hands like 89TQ ds became a folding hand preflop more frequently. But I am also amazed how bad the players are at the levels of $5/$10 or below. That's why even I suck at limit games I still win money each time at LO8. :)Also, smash, why were you so mean to Tritz at that long thread? I don't think he's trolling. It would be one of the PS software patch had bugs, may be the Internet traffics at that moment were bad... No need to trash him like that.
