bet, I think your getting called here by Ace high frequently enough to consider it a value bet.

why the turn check?I say bet/fold the river. If he's passive, I don't think he would raise with less than you have. The pot is small, so folding to a raise incorrectly isnt that bad.Ace high may call.I really think you are ahead, unless he is so passive that he's willing to check it down twice with a pair better than 6's. With no 3 bet on the pre-flop yuo can rule out some of the pp's that beat you.I may be missing the point of the post.Unless the focus is on how small the pot is, and should yuo risk a r/r ?

i think you should put in another bet on the river.Although he may be passive, i dont think he could check the turn and river with a pp above 8s. I think the only hand he might have which beats you is 77, and obviously the chances of that are miniscule. Put in another bet and let him muck his A10.
One day ill win one of those MTT thingys

Either check if you aren't confident or overbet the pot here (don't go overboard.. I'd do something like 800 on a 600 pot). If he comes over the top I'd muck. The reason why I wouldn't underbet (200-400 in a 600) is considering him picking this bet out as weak and inducing him to come over the top with any two cards. If you overbet, it'd be hard for a low-medium pocket to reraise and wouldn't make a whole lot of sense if TT or an 8 pushes. Overbetting may also induce an A to call if he reads your bet as a flat steal. The big mistake here is not betting the turn with a feeler bet.
