NL Texas Hold'em, $100 buy in with a group of freinds. Blinds are $1/2.The guys are horrible, drunk, and in the mood to lose money.I am dealt A :) J :D UTG. I raise it to $8 and get four callers. The flop comes down:5 :club: 9 :) J :D How aggressive would you play this? You have TPTK with the nut flush draw.

Pretty damn tough, I'm happy taking the 40 or whatever is in the pot... against drunks... bet pot maybe?

Maybe not aggressive at all. One option is definitely to check the flop and maybe even the turn. Let someone get a little loose with their J10 or even clean someone out when they hit the king-high flush. Sure this leaves you open to a K or Q on the turn, but even then you are drawing to the nuts. I just think the amount of money you could pick up with a good trap could be huge.Betting the pot isnt a bad idea either. Just another option.
One day ill win one of those MTT thingys

I push and expect to get called by Ks3d most of the time.

I'd play it fast. For one top pair needs to be played that way anyway in this case. Secondly you have the nut flush. No question in my mind you need to play this fast and you will most likely get callers due to their drunken state.I'd definitely be sitting at that table all night long :D

I agree, you gotta play this hand. I would hate to give King rag or Queen rag a free card. Get your money in and the others players bust themeselves.
