I just have to get this one off of my chest, you all know the feeling... In the typical .25-.50 NL home game im up a good amount of about 50 bucks... I have $60 and M has $45 I am dealt J :) 3 :club: in the BB and only the button and M who is a fairly tight player calls from the SB, so 3 players with $1.50 in the potFlop is 10 :) - 9 :club: 2 :D ... M checks and I bet $1.50 thinking I can just pick the small pot up right there with only the button (also a tight player) and M to worry about... Well I was wrong and M calls while the button folds folds. Turn is 7 :club: now this is where I make my first mistake, after M checks again I bet $2.50 again just trying to steal with my now gutshot Jack high... M calls River is 8 :club: YES! I hit my gutshot... ok how can I get the most money out of M... He checks again and I pretend to go into the tank.. I play with my chips for a while and bet out $6.50 which may have been to large considering I wanted him to call with only a high 10 but I thought that that amount might get him to raise with 2 pair, a lower straight, or a set. This amount also may give the impression that Im bluffing and overbetting the pot to rin M over... "Yeah 6.50 is a good amount I think to myself" Before I even get the chips into the pot M goes all in... This sign of major strength made me think he was bluffing, but what did I care, I had a straight... And as the "L" from call rolls off my tongue M says "nuts" and flips over Q :D J :club: .... And I am forced to ask the dreaded "how much do I owe you?" So this one hand killed me and even though I may have misplayed it a little I still dont think there is anyway I could not double my opponent up... So give me all your oppinions of just another pathetic story

So give me all your oppinions of just another pathetic storyThere's a reason the phrase "sucker straight" exists.
