On PP, in the cutoff with a stack a little over $600, big stack at the table, Get KK raise to 20 flat...everyone folds to SB and he flat calls, see the flop heads up. Flop AK10 all hearts...pot is around $50, he checks and i bet $50...he check raises me to $150. This to me says he is trying to protect a hand, maybe flopped a small flush, maybe two pair AK, maybe a straight(least likely) or a flopped set with A"s or T's, not really sure what he has but want to see if the turn is a heart so i just call...turn brings black rag...he immedietly goes all in...i think for a second and call. Once i think about it, most times i will be behind there but knew if i paired the board on the river i would win. Had a good month and took a gamble....anyways he had 1010 for the flopped bottom set and drawing to one out...$1,120 pot. pretty happy about the way it turned out. What do u all think, bad call, good call? Critique play. Oh and by the way the river was a black rag as well.
interesting pp 200 nl hand...what would u do?

it was a good call, because I think at this point, the only cards you fear are AA, QJ for a straight or if he has a heart in his hand. I think it was well played, good call on the flop, because really you can't put him on a hand after he raises you on the flop. He could have 2 pair, a set, a straight, a flush draw? I wouldn't put him on a low flush, because you raised pre-flop. I think you played it well by calling instead of raising on the flop, if you had re-raised all-in, I think your opponent could have folded or wouldn't commit all his chips. Most likely, the hand I'd put him on is top 2 pair or a flopped set, because I think if he holds that Q of hearts, he just calls you down instead of trying to get you out of the hand. When you called the flop, he probably put you on AQ with a heart or something along those lines, that's why he pushed on the turn when it was a blank, to try and take the pot right there without the chance of being outdrawn. Either way though, it would have been tough for either of you to lay your hands down, unless you played it overaggressive.
