TeeDot 0
Tilt is the only game and town. 90 percent of you will continue to watch it regardless of what you post here. Bad dialogue. Bad dialogue with poker slang is better than the best lines from Shakespeare. If you disaggree with me, why do you come to this forum to read Daniels journal? I'm not saying he writes bad but the content is poker and thats why you read it.Too much emphasis on cheating. They had to find tension, create a bad guy. In Rounders, the heros owed money with clock running out to pay up. Here the heros got cheated by The Man and they're out to get revenged. They need to milk the plot line for at least one season. The cheat as the bad guy works. Ok, having the cheat work at a major casino is not as good as having him setup private games or in hustle in shady underground poker rooms. But the producers wanted Vegas, so the cheat sits in a major casino. Cut them some slack. In the end, this is the first TV series with poker as the theme. If this series is successful, maybe FOX will come up with a series of their own with better acting, scripts and product. Remember 90210? well they eventually made the O.C. He just wants his post at the top of a seperate thread as he thinks it's too good to remain unread at the bottom of the other. Maybe I'm not reading this hand correctly but either way; yawn.
