dimseven 0
I couldn't get this to run through the converter, but its simple. The table is tight (as in Full Tilt tight). 1-2 limit.I have A-K and raise. I get 3 bet and call. Flop comes: A 10 8 (rainbow)Opponent bets the flop and I raise. He 3 bets again, so I call again, and call him down to showdown. I know he's a good solid player and he 3 bet me twice (pre-flop and flop with A on board). Final Board: 10 8 A 7 5 :heart:Comments? DCWildcat 0
Nice hand...I'm gonna go out on a limp and say he flopped aces up.
TheIceman05 0
Cap the flop. The hand plays totally differently from there. If you cold-call the 3-bet preflop, you'd better be prepared to pound the shit out of the flop when you flop top pair. Ice
dimseven 0
Cap the flop. IceOk, if I cap the flop, then on the turn? He's first to act, so if he bets out again, call him down to showdown?

Nice hand...I'm gonna go out on a limp and say he flopped aces up.Pocket aces, flopped the set.I figured he had aces, but I couldn't fold TPTK, or y'all would jump on me and label me tight-weak.
dimseven 0
even i give more info then that..but id be cappin preflop and on the flop..cant tell u much after that..seems to be no informationCapping pre-flop doesn't seem right. It's heads up, and an opponent who's solid is 3 betting with a high pair or A-K.Save a bet here, save a bet there?
potpumper43 0
At a tight table as you described, his preflop 3-bet indicated a probable high pair under aces, since you have an ace in your hand. I would have lost more by capping preflop (keeps em docile with the middle pairs in later hands when they see you will liberally 4 bet). On the flop, I would have capped it again. But if he led again on the turn I would have went to calldown mode figuring he either has AK, AQ, or AA. Tracker describes me as a LAG-Passive (years long sample) so my line might be different than yours, I usually am a beserker preflop and on the flop.
