2-7 triple draw hand

Recommended Posts

on the UB table we had going..no more FCP'ers on there I dont think tho...although apparently I'm sittin next to Jessica Alba now tho  RISE has 8 :club: 4 :D 5 :) J :) 7 :) 1st round: 6 handed, 1 posterposter checks, RISE raises, 2 folds, BB callsBB draws 3 cards, RISE draws 1 card. discard the J, pick up the A :D 2nd round: BB checks, RISE bets, BB callsBB stands pat, RISE draws 1discard the A, pick up the 2 :D 3rd round: BB checks, RISE checksBB stands pat, RISE stands patfinal round: BB checks, RISE checksread: the guy likes to stand on decent 10 and 9 highs. The guy is a good player tho. He's made a few good call downs on a LAG with J high. I wasn't sure if he made a 10 or 9 or if he actually made a decent 8 and decided to call down. Looking back, he was showing no aggression, so once i picked up my 8 low I think I should've been betting. Any thoughts?

yikes!!terrible hand to raise with before the first draw.you have a very rough 8-7 draw... that's pretty bad.limp or fold on the first round depending on the table texture.aseem

actually, i change my mind. that hand should be folded on almost any table.your position sucks, you could be drawing near dead on a later round even if you make your hand, etc.since you played it, you have to bet that third round for information. if he calls, stand pat again and value bet again on the fourth round. if he checkraises, either fold or discard the 8 or the 7 and shoot for a better hand (depending on your read).checking both streets wasn't smart.aseem

yeah I know. That was the one thing that stood out to me after I looked back at the hand was I made my hand and then got scared. My first time really playing TD...I thought I played this hand decent until I looked back at it, that's why i wanted some opinions....
