So following a hand were I had pocket Q's to take out the third spot in our weekly game of no-limit, I get dealt Pocket K's. I have a 4-1 chip lead on the other guy. So I decide to call the big blind and see a flop. Flop comes K, 7, x. I make a decent bet and am called. Turn comes off, another 7. I go all in with a full boat, my friend calls, the river is a blank, and he takes the pot with his pocket pair of 7's to make quads.

That's not too bad, at least your opponent had reason to stay in the hand. I had AA beaten by 10 7 off suit yesterday to put me out of the cash for a big tourney. BTW, bad beat stories have their own forum.
