folding on the river

My opponent was playing fairly solid poker.Should I have called or folded on river when the board didnt pair?PokerStars 0.25/0.50 Hold'em (10 handed) converterPreflop: Hero is MP3 with [Qh], [Qc]. UTG calls, 3 folds, BB calls, MP2 calls.Flop: (13.40 SB) [Qs], [7s], [8s] (3 players)BB bets, BB calls.Turn: (10.70 BB) [9s] (2 players)BB bets, Hero calls.River: (12.70 BB) [Jd] (2 players)BB bets, Hero calls.Final Pot: 14.70 BB

I'd probably call just to look him up for information, maybe the rare instance he flopped a set. Pot's pretty big too, so I think calling is ok.

Call the river. The pot is too big to fold. Also the flop action might represent 2 pair or a set.
