RISEorFall 0
Absolute....RISE is Button with AKoPF: 3 limpers, RISE raises, SB calls, BB 3-bets, all call, RISE calls, SB callsFlop: (18 SB) Q 9 x rainbowSB checks, BB checks, limpers check, RISE checksTurn: (9 BB) 10SB bets, BB calls, 1 limper calls, 2 limpers fold, RISE calls.River: (13 BB) xSB bets, BB folds, limper folds, RISE foldsI check this flop because it's very sketchy when a PF 3-bettor checks the flop. I don't want to get check/raised, so I take a free card.reads on SB: made friends with him last night at a table. Pretty straightforward player. I doubt he's betting into this field without atleast a pair. I'm also pretty sure my A and K outs are good and I have the gutshot. I also now am pretty sure BB has AK as well after he calls. Should I just fold the turn?
BeanGW 0
I don't think it's a bad turn call. Even if you discount your 12 outs (4 Aces, 4 K's, and 4 J's) , the pot is paying you 12 to 1 when it gets to you. I think it's an easy call.I think you played it fine. I don't think a raise on the turn would be a good idea. You'll only get three-bet when you are in bad shape already.I may have bet the flop just to gain some info, and take the lead on the betting... but other than that it looks fine. SB probably would've called tho, but I would've gotten a cheap river. I have been check/raised on the flop after being 3-bet PF so much that I was scared of it. I know, my husband plays too.
Smasharoo 0
don't think it's a bad turn call. Even if you discount your 12 outs (4 Aces, 4 K's, and 4 J's)I tend to discount the A and the K I'm holding.I'm crazy like that, but I just don't see them hit the board to pair me up that much....The turn call is fine on the gutshot alone.Raising the turn makes this hand a lot more fun. RISEorFall 0
Raising the turn makes this hand a lot more fun.So we can fold out a hand we split with if we hit?

Sometimes I can be a total donk. Luckily in this case, even discounting from 10 outs he's in good shape.
Smasharoo 0
So we can fold out a hand we split with if we hit?Nah, just makes it more fun. It's probably -EV, especially when SB three-bets with KJ.When you hit the broiadway though, implied tilt odds are through the roof!
RISEorFall 0
stupid me, thinking you used logic behind your actions but seriously, if you can come up with numbers for the implied tilt odds.....
