PrtyPSux 0
Im utg w/ J J 3/6 maniacal table.I raise, maniac MP calls, new guy CO 3 bets, BB calls, everyone else calls, (12.5 SB)flop J 5 6 BB checks, I bet, maniac calls, CO raises, BB calls, I threebet, maniac capps *Ive seen him do the exact same thing pf w/ 97s and on the flop w/ a flush draw*...everyone calls (14.25 BB)turn 6xI bet, maniac calls, CO calls, BB foldsriver K I bet, maniac folds, bb raises..I three bet, he capps...I call.I called knowing what I was up against, but I 3bet hoping for AKd .. I think my line couldve been different, like maybe a slower flop since Im not protecting crap from these guys, then I can get a c/r or even a 3bet turn.

custom36 5
At a maniacal table, I might check/raise the flop. Everything looks fine though. You're winning this often enough that the 3-bet is good, IMO.

You probably won't be able to protect the pot, so with the maniac next to you, you can juice the pot and show a fair bit of profit. If these guys have anything, they'll keep playing, and you might still be able to get some bets in on the turn. I don't think you missed any bets the way you played it. Since they slowed down on the turn, they probably would have regardless of the flop action. Good hand.
