flopped 4 of a kind

or Quads, but I only had 1 in my hadn..so I'm not sure if that's "Quads"This is a 1/2 WOW I've never done that before in Limit, and 1/2 could I have gotten anymore out of this.BTW, I realize this occurs so irregularly that learning how to max the gain is inconsequential. Nonetheless some principles may apply to slightly more common situations (like flopping boats).oh, and of course, I'm still new enuf at the game, that this is just plain neat.Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (10 handed) converterPreflop: Hero is CO with Ac, Th. 1 fold, BB calls, UTG+1 calls.Flop: (6.50 SB) Ts, Td, Tc (3 players)BB checks, UTG+1 bets, Hero calls, BB calls.Turn: (4.75 BB) 7c (3 players)BB checks, UTG+1 checks, Hero bets, BB calls, UTG+1 folds.River: (6.75 BB) 2d (2 players)BB checks, Hero bets, BB calls.Final Pot: 8.75 BBafter seeing it..yeah, pretty worthlessBut maybe someone can see a little suggestion:

Pretty standard play I think. If an Ace or K hit the board you might have gotten some more action. Oddly, I hit quad 10's this weekend myself (I think it was only about my 4th.) Was multi-tabling at the time so as I was flipping between the tables and for a second I thought I must be mentally connecting my hand to the wrong flop. Had to refocus for a second to be sure. It's not quite as rare as you'd think... over the course of the weekend I ran into quads twice and had em once myself, over about 1500 hands.

Not bad. It will actually occur more than you think once you play some more hands. Its obviously best when you flop quads with a pocket pair, but your situation can be very profitable as well. I suggest raising the flop in a small .5/1 game for two reasons. First, they could be betting with a small pocket pair and an over card could turn a bet into a check on the turn. You should get in the money when they will overplay their hand. Second, it is always curious when people raise these flops. People will pay off out of curiosity all the way down. Lastly, since you raised the flop people will not give you credit for quads so when they hit their full house you will actually get more action on the turn than you would if you slowplayed because of it they cant think you would have raised with quads on the flop. Since you raised preflop in this scenario u might not get a whole lot of action, because your opponent might think you are chopping. In these situations many loose low limit players think if they pair a card or hold a pocket pair they will have the best hand. Exploit this while the exploitings good.

Yeah your raise preflop was fine, I was just saying that in this situation you might not get as much action on later streets if high cards come as you would had you been in middle position and not raisedOh sorry didnt read the above poster

If he'd known he would've flopped quads maybe he shouldn't have raised PF. A-10 in the CO with only one limper is a raise all day, every day, twice on Sunday. Except maybe when you know you're going to flop quads.

I'm a relatively inexperienced player and i play at very low limits. I'm just telling you what the chart says.

this has nothing to do with advice just a funny story. I was in a live 10/20 game in Tunica once and flopped quad 10's. (TT) in the hole.I never had to raise once....every betting round capped i just called the whole way. One guy flopped a full house with QQ board was QTT. another guy turned the nut FH with AA and the turn was an A.it was a rediculous pot and the looks on their faces when i turned over quads.........PRICELESS!
