Let me start of by saying omaha is by far my worst game so if this is obvious (which I don't think it is) just let me know9 handed .5/1 omaha hi only tableI'm dealt AA66 dobule suited on the buttonI raise pot (5.50 or so) and its heads up to the flopFlop: 4 5 7 rainbow with one backdoor flush draw, he checks...I thought a long time about this, Both our stacks were about 100 dollars, so we were pretty deep. I felt like betting half the pot which was about 9 dollars was too weak, although a pot sized bet might sshow even more weakness. After long time contemplating all my options, including checking, I ended up betting the pot, which was about 18 dollars. Immediatly he bet the pot which was about 50 more dollars. Before I bet, I thought if he reraised pot it could be a huge bluff. Usually when I have this feeling (granted its in hold em) I'm usually right, but I ended up folding in this situation after thinking about it forever. My time bank actually ran out. So this hand happened a couple days ago, and even though I'm not much of an omaha player nor do I play it often, it's been bothering me. Was there a better move? Did I lay down the best hand? I really didnt want to be up against a set. Another thing that bothered me was that I had 2 6s which means it was more unlikely for him to have made a straight. 2 pair would be kinda bizarre for him to have, and it wouldn't have been a huge problem if he had just 2 pair. I think he may have had a hand like kk23. Any thoughts?

easy fold. AA is overrated in omaha personally im takin the free card and hoping the turn brings me 4 to a flush so i have some sort of redraw against the straight.

I wouldn't be worried about a straight nearly as much as I would be worried about a set.Checking behind there isn't bad.

Potting that was probably the worst thing you could have done. The reason being if he is on a bluff or has a crazy two pair he's going to pot it right back at you and there is no way you are going to be able to call it then. The best thing here would have been to check behind him, or if you wanted to show that you atleast weren't going to be bullied in the hand, bet 7 or 9 dollars. That way if he pots it, the choice to continue playing is cheaper, and folding isn't so rough because you have invested so much in the hand.
I don't want to masterbate, I just want to rollerskate.
