ziggy587 0
What is your favorite televised laydown? Mine is when Hellmuth folded pocket kings pre-flop and proceeded to tell the guy that he has only layed down that hand like 3 other times in his life. It was either the 03 or 04 WSOP. ziggy587 0
Arieh made a nice laydown against Jon Murphy when Arieh hit his flush on the river, however it paired the board thus giving Murphy the boat.

Or maybe it wasn't necessarily the laydown. But Marcel calling the cards.

He played it bad if that was his thought though, he should chcked or bet less(maybe he didnt have much left though)

GCP 0
Arieh made a nice laydown against Jon Murphy when Arieh hit his flush on the river, however it paired the board thus giving Murphy the boat. That was a good laydown, although pretty standard. Murphy bet 1.9 million into a 500k pot or something. It was a mistake on John's part that let Josh off the hook, really. A check would have induced a large bet from Josh. ziggy587 0
yea...Murphy over bet by going all in on the river... He could have squeezed some chips out of Josh.
mosesXcore 0
i laid down pocket kings on a board of JT8 after I was check raised all-in a few days ago. Two hands later I mucked top two after the guy I was playing turned his flush.I ended up winning the 30 person sit-n-go, so I'd say they were pretty good laydowns.

He played it bad if that was his thought though, he should chcked or bet less(maybe he didnt have much left though)Murphy did play that hand bad......he should have bet half the pot at the most on the river....The overbet made Arieh think too much and I think in replaying the hand in his head...he realized that Murphy caught his money card....so he folded...If Murphy bets 1/4 of the pot...he gets called for sure...Arieh had a healthy stack and would have been forced to call....but calling the allin would have crippled Arieh...A check raise might have worked.....but I doubt it....with the board paired...I don't think Arieh bets the river with his King High Flush...especially since Murphy had pounded the pot....So a bet up to half the pot was probably the best play. alf13 0
I think Arieh might have bet it.....but I dont think he would call Murphy's allin unless he was pot stuckI disagree.....as aggressive as Murphy was playing...I don't think Arieh opens himself up to being put to a decision by betting that river card...I think he checks behind Murphy (In that check raising scenario) and shows down his flush.... ziggy587 0
I too believe a Murphy river bet of 1/2 the pot would be appropriate and yet small enough that Arieh would have to call. He would have been a nut to check the best hand on the river and hope Arieh bets it... That could have been an easy check check for Arieh.

Plus a big river bet is always fishy and there is a good liklyhood he would of called. esp if he put on on making his flush, which he did. It was a good bet and an even better laydown
