Payout for $5000 Omaha event w/ rebuys: Entrants: 134 Rebuys and Add-ons: 229 Total Prize Pool: $1,765,568 1st: $635,603 2nd: $353,115 3rd: $194,210 4th: $141,245 5th: $123,590 6th: $105,935 7th: $88,280 8th: $70,625 9th: $52,965More than 10x the buy-in for 9th and nothing for 10th? Jeez, that's harsh. You'd think with 134 players and 360 buy-ins they could pay more than 9 places.

Maybe Harry D can comment on this? He's already made critical comments about the payout structures at this year's WSOP. What might be the motivation in this case for only paying the final table in a rebuy event? It does seem ridiculous.
