after a small local tournament 6 guys (including me) sat down to play a little 1/2nl. I'm probably the best player at the table by quite a margin and the other 5 at the table know that and usually play scared against me. it's a pretty loose game as far as preflop is concerned and you can almost always limp with any semblance of a hand (because of the implied odds poor players give you) when it's unraised. so here's the hand:I'm on the button with Js9d, every limps to me, I call, SB completes, BB checks. All 6 of us see the flop, there's $12 in the pot (no rake).flop comes 7 8 9 rainbow (the 8 is a diamond). checks around to me, I bet $15 - most of the time i'll pick this pot up right here, and if not, I'll know what I'm up against.UTG calls, and the guy to my right (cutoff pos.) calls. everyone else foldedreads:UTG is a pretty poor player. he almost always bets out with any pair (top pair, low pair, underpair), he almost always check/calls and raises later in the hand with an overpair, and anything bigger than 1 pair. he also likes to all any time he has an overcard.the guy to my right (the guy in the cutoff) is a pretty average player. he knows some things about pot odds and generally will only stay in the hand when he has a decent draw or some sort of hand like top pair.turn comes 10 of diamonds (I've made a Jack high straight, with the 4 straight cards on the flop; there's also 2 diamonds now on board).UTG checks, cutoff bets $10. It's to me on the buttonI don't like the cutoff leading out here after check/calling the flop as he's the only player in the hand I'm worried about.Time for me to raise - either i have the best hand or I need to find out more about what the cutoff has, and to a lesser extent, I need to find out what UTG has just in case. I min raise it to $20 (online i'd play it differently, with these guys this is the right play).!! UTG raises it to $70 (he had about 300ish in front of him, as did cutoff, I had about 650 in front of me). Before I could make a new read on UTG, cutoff man calls without hesitation.pot size is $217, $50 to call. I wait a while, I folded.Did I make the right play? Here's why I folded:UTG is NOT bluffing - at least, he doesn't think he is. He either has 2 pair, a Jack, or a JQ - possibly Jx of diamonds. No question about it. I know he doesn't have a set because he always raises preflop with any pair every time no matter what position.Cutoff has either a J, a JQ, or Jx with 2 diamonds no question about it.The final straw for my fold was that they both know that I am the better player at the table, and they just do not come into me like that without a hand. So best case scenario, it's a 2-way chop (meaning i'm only going to profit around $60 on the $50 call). What seems much more likely to me is:1. that it's a 3-way chop with one person having a freeroll to hit that 3rd diamond. 2. cutoff has QJ and I'm drawing to a 3-outter for a chopof course, there are numerous other possibilities, but that was my thinking in the hand. What would you do?I'll post results later to tell you what the other 2 guys were holding.

I would probably fold as well, but I am a fairly tight player in these situations. Given the situation, I'm not sure if the min raise was the best choice, someone with Jx here can push you back hard and make the call near impossible. I wouldn't put him on QJ, but I would say you're definately calling for a chop at best, which is why I fold here. My initial read would be Jx diamonds but I would have to know the player. Also, this could be QJ trying to push out the flush draw, but I dont think average players would do that.
