Button is decent.Pre-flop:1 fold, UTG+1 calls, 4 folds, button raises, Cobalt 3-bets, BB folds, UTG+1 calls, button callsFlop (3 players): 2 :D 5 :) 6 :spade:Cobalt bets, UTG+1 calls, button callsTurn (3 players): 2 :diamond:Cobalt checks, UTG+1 checks, button checksRiver (3 players): 8 :diamond:Cobalt bets, UTG+1 folds, button foldsFinal pot: 6 BBBet/fold turn? Bet the turn: you could be ahead and people will fold a lot.The river action depends on the players. Don't bet into calling stations. Check/call LAGs.To evaluate the river bet, you have to ask how often you get better hands to fold and how often worse hands call? What do you think your opponents have: offsuit broadways, low pocket pairs, random garbage? In this case I don't think you are getting worse hands to fold, but maybe some hands you beat call.

econ, pretty sure I'm ahead on the turn...was trying to induce a bluff. For some reason, I didn't want to induce one on the river.

Have to bet the turn to prevent a bluff. They could have anything
Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.

I hope you were planning on CRing the turn.cobalt, vnh hand. I like how you played it. if it was HU, I might've check called, but I really don't want an overcall in there so betting out solved that problem.

which is why we check raise there. we want to induce a bluff. they are drawing to four outs on the river, since their club outs are dirty

I think you've misread the hand. There are two spade on the board and the OP has two clubs. I guess the potential bluffer could think his spade outs were dirty, but this doesn't change the fact that he likely has 6 outs. Does this change your line?
