Don't bet the river with 2 others still in. only hands you have beat fold and only hands that beat you call.

i wanted to represent flush..and get better hands to fold.Figured my turn check looked like I was drawing...

You were drawing. It'd be a more convincing looking flush if both spades were on the flop. After checking the turn, anyone with a pair on the flop is more than likely calling you down on the river. Just check it through.
