While i was having a look at the upcoming USA releases on the gamecube to see what to order so i dont have to wait another 8 months to play the game like us poor pal gamers usually have to i came across this:http://www.gamestop......t_id=B220445AAdmittedly its only a budget release price but how the heck would this work? How can the computer come up with the kind of plays it needs to to make this game work :/Anyone over in the US read any reviews or anything on it? Ive just added the Ltd Ed Resi Evil 4 to by basket i may also add this just to see if it will be as bad as it sounds.

Not sure about that one, but my neighbor got this one for Christmas and it is awesome ...http://www.senario.c...tory/index.htmlCan play up to 6 players and each person has their own hand held pda type device which shows their hole cards. Its a great mixture of like playing online and a home game. We used it in conjunction with real money.

I think the PS@ and the X-Box have already released this game title. I have never played it but maybe someone who knows those titles can give us all a review.

From reading the description this game looks like it will appeal to strictly newbs who don't care if it is realistic at all as long as they can go all-in with 72o and then tell all their newb-friends about it. "Players will soon be going all-in with “the pure nuts” and stealing pots left and right!"Cheese factor = cheddar to limburger

So I have the poker game that X-BOX released, and it stinks. My friend has the same one on PS2 and the gameplay is horrible. The computer plays almost everyhand and never holds, creating the "PARTY POKER" effect. Its fun if the cards are running right for ya but it is just plain frustrating most of the time.

This game is like playing on the internet for play money. It really is terrible. The only difference is that the computer doesnt try to bluff but they will call with anything. Please avoid this game at all costs. The only positive I got out of it was "Howard Lederer's Tells All", that was bundled with it.

I have WCP for PS2.....its not realistic at all.....players look so fake and they play everything. I will say this, however....its good just to play the different games, and if you love poker as much as I do, its good just to have a poker game out there. Overall better than nothing, but not that good.

Its sucks terribly.I'll give a short review.Graphics wise they are decent I guess. The people I feel DO look real, and the create a character option is amazing, there is just so many possibilities. The game selection is also great, a very large selcetion and even had some games I have never played before, like shanghi. The gameplay though...it's just plain HORRIBLE. It is a battle of the blinds every hand. Very rare do you find a CPU not in a blind playing. The computer also seems totally uncapable of re-raising the nut hands. I was up against quad 9s and he raises, I re-raised with a boat and he simply called. This is on the professional difficulty level also. The highest difficulty available, I realize it is very hard to capture human randomness...but the CPU should be fully capable of getting all my chips in if I'm willing to put em when he has the nut hand.On the other side I have won numerous pots by being called down with 6 high. There is no such thing as bluffing out the CPU. The first time I played I missed a club flush draw and bet a pot sized amount to try and steal. I was called and won with my King high when he showed 4-6.If anything buy it to mess around with the characters, play online (just as bad as play money online on the comp, but eh if your bored...) and try out some new games you have never played before.Overall though I would say that playing to much of this game would GREATLY decrease your playing ability if you managed to develop habits from playing this game. Not really worth the $20 unless you are a die hard "gotta get everything poker!" maniac.

you cant even play it if your bored it is achingly slow. ai blows. extremely poor online competition, which is more on the young side. its one perk would be voice comms on xbox, but you also have to hear people who are obnoxious. SLOW.
