Bodog 3/6 Limit (8 handed)Cobalt is button w/ T :D T :). UTG and CO are both super-donks.Pre-flop:UTG raises, 3 folds, CO calls, Cobalt calls, SB folds, BB foldsFlop (3 players): 4 :D T :) 8 :diamond:UTG bets, CO calls, Cobalt callsTurn (3 players): Q :spade:UTG bets, CO calls, Cobalt raises, UTG calls, CO foldsRiver (3 players): T :diamond:UTG bets, Cobalt raises, UTG 3-bets, Cobalt caps, UTG callsFinal Pot: 18 BBI know this isn't the standard aggressive line...but I didn't 3-bet the flop or raise the flop, because I didn't want to startle the donkeys (and wanted to be able to get out of there easily with a bad flop). I know there's a draw out there, but I'm putting UTG on two overs or an overpair and feeling that I'm way ahead. I'm super-confident that he'll lead into me on the turn if I just call and I can get more mileage out of top set.The turn completes the OESD, but I can't put either opponent on having hit it. The CO was generally aggressive and wasn't savvy enough to slowplay and merely try for the overcall on a hand like that.Bet you can't guess what UTG had. Seriously...it's almost impossible to believe.(Edit: Looking back at the options of 3-betting pre-flop or raising the flop...I think my slowplay yielded an extra 1.5 to 2 BB above the standard line...though I realize this is results-based thinking. Does anyone else hate my play here?)

I know this isn't the standard aggressive lineUm, your line is how everyone plays it. Hard to be more standard than that.

Seriously? No 3-bet pre-flop or flop raise with the draws?

Seriously? No 3-bet pre-flop or flop raise with the draws?Seriously. You can't proec this hand on the flop and you get more value in the turn.

Reraise preflop.Every thing after that looks great(I'd say why the flop call was okay, but smash already did).

Yeah, I'm also raising this preflop. It's good for equity
Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.

Oh man, that and the donkeys in JWeb's thread (plus I'm so tired I can't see straight and thought you named this thread Donkey Humping) make me very happy. :-)

boooooooooooooooooring
i saw him at the riverbank. he was breaking bread and giving thanks. with crosses made of pipes and planks. leaned up against the nitrous tanks.
he said take a hit. hold your breath and i'll dunk your head. then when you wake up, you'll be high as hell and born again.

Played a couple short-handed games with some super-donkeys over the past week or two. No regular games though.Funniest hand from one of the games...Late into the game (.25/.50 NL), my buddy limps UTG. I fold. SB raises $2. BB calls. My buddy goes all-in for $20. SB calls all-in for $10. BB thinks a bit and finally calls all-in for $20.SB shows KK. My buddy shows KJs (for an ill-advised bluff). BB shows T9os. KK takes the main pot. King-high holds up in the sidepot. Apparently, it was the BB's "favorite hand".
