I know table selection is very important to sucess in poker. I have been trying to get better about picking table where I feel I will be sucessful, but I don't really have a set way to go about it, so I was wondering what critera everyone here uses in picking a table and why?

I pick the ones that sound like good Cat names.Flop percentage and pot size are the driving factors.Higher and higer is ussually good, allthough ocassionaly leads to super-laggy tables, whch some people don' do well with.

definitely higher pot size and higher flop percentage. In sites like partypoker that don't show the percentage, you can sometimes associate the high pot size to high flop percentage, but not always.

Care to clarify why higher is better, and what %/dollar amount you consider high?

Just look compared to other rooms with the same limits at the site.
