It's a money machine, I tell ya. If you have any concept of where the fold button is, you'll make money.I'm trying to develop some gidelines for hands to play, tho. Anybody have any wisdom in that regard?

I was having the same thought at Gaming Club, cause they have it too. I noticed tons of fishies just playing it down no matter what, but I couldn't figure out exactly what kind of strength I needed myself. I played some NL, which wasn't a good idea, because my QQ lost to some crappy 2 pair and I lost 10 bucks. But the limit games looked super fishy, i just clicked the wrong table and didn't feel like changing. Just thought I'd give it a shot, and I think it's beatable if you know what you're doing.

I don't really, but I'm still making about 10BB/100. I know once people start figuring the game out, my fishiness will come out, but I'm liking it so far. I just love people who call down at 1/2 with a pair of 6s. Saw a guy get it capped after the draw after standing pat with a straight flush (other guy had 4448J).

Not much variance in 5 card draw. Bad players just get killed.

Indeed they do. Any thoughts on strating hand requirements? I've been going with JJ-AA, 2 pair 88 or higher, 4 to an open ended straight or flush.

Like farming.Luicrative though.5 Stud's even worse for bad players. Much more complete information than most games.

Preach it, brother. Only thing that salvages it is 90-115 hands per hour for me. that and counting the number of donkey plays/calls.

Anyone read the 5 card draw section of SS? I wonder if that, combined with some experience, would be enough to kill a game like that.

I haven't read it, but I'm sure it would help. Anything would help. My wife just took 20BB in 20 minutes. Helped with a capped pot on her last hand where she drew to her straight and the other guy 3 bet and caled the cap with AA99T.

How do you know how much variance is in it? Some calculation based on its structure that I probably wouldn't understand if you told me?

Well, just in the few hundred hands I've played on PR (it's new there), I think he's right. IF you're a winning player, you'll win. If you have no idea what you're doing, you'll go broke, fast. There's no up and down yet. Also with only 2 betting rounds and 1 draw, you're not counterfeited often.

seriously though, it does seem like easy money, I had no Idea what I was doing yet I made some awesome reads when i wasnt in the hands just by how many cards they were drawing and betting patterns. It could be easy to beat if you kn0w what your doing and if you're very very patient...like a farmer..whatever the fuck that means???
