ROBERT "2.0" VARKONYI aka VARKONYI 2.0robert-varkonyi-big.jpg Our Hero being crowned as the Greatest Poker Player of our generation.wsop-2002-winner-robert-varonyi.jpgVarkonyi stares into the soul of Harley Hall....Hall quickly busted out there after.e1245.jpgPresidents are on currency..Bobby V is on a Casino chip. Enough said.robertvarkonyifinalhand.jpgThis is the final hand...you can almost see him willing the "Varkonyi" to be dealt. Be afraid Mr. gardner...Be very Afraid.A Breakdown of the most powerful hand in WSOP history... THE VARKONYI: :):) The Queen/Ten offsuit is the most powerful playback hand in poker. (If played masterfully like Mr. Varkonyi) It must be played as fast as possible, and must be raised preflop in any position. It is the most deceptively powerful hand in poker as these examples will show.Lets see how it fares against the top 4 hands in poker: :club::) = Obviously a powerful hand....but if you play the QT by re-re-raising allin with it and get called...you can make a diamond flush, a full house of Queens full of tens, The Nut straight, two smaller straights, and of course if the ten is of a different suit than the Aces...you have yet another flush possibility. The most common downfall of the aces to THE VARKONYI is of course the QQ6 flop which has your opponent almost drawing dead. Nevermind that QT can make two pair, which makes the Varkonyi an implied reverse exponential odds coin flip versus pocket Aces. :D:D = See Above. :):) = This is where it gets tricky, you obviously have less outs, but your opponent is hampered by the inability to make a straight as easy as you because you already have a ten. If you put your opponent on this hand and you hold the QT, it is recommended that you only call the re-raise and wait to flop your straight. :D:) = Your opponent has overplayed his hand in this instance and found himself in a heads up situation with you while you are holding the Varkonyi. You almost do not need to do anything as the QT is dominant versus the hooks. Just tell your opponent to go back to the internet and quit live poker. Here is our hero's stellar record:http://pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/player.php?a=r&n=469Other accomplishments and Cashes:The Brooklyn Poker Classic 6th $42 The Long Island heads Up Poker Challenge 2nd $10Shaved Phil Hellmuth's headThe 142nd Street Championships 8th $25The Baci Ball Club poker Championship 11th $12The 11th Annual Harvey Rothstein YMCA Poker Showdown 14th $9The Homeless man outside Madison Square Garden Heads Up Holdem challenge (freeroll, prize was a half full bottle of MD 20/20)Beat Doyle_Brunson102 in a play money Heads Up match on Party Poker. (It was an exhibition, and those that say that it wasn't really Doyle are just haters.)THE 2006 EXTREME POKER CHAMPION!!!!!! (Destroyed the field in the nude in sub freezing temperatures)

I saw him working a glory hole at Circus Circus last month. Does that count? After I was done, I asked him about the Q 10. He had no comment.

Alf, is this going to turn into a BigMcgee/X-22 type love affair?
This is a runup to the 2 million dollar No Limit Heads Up Challenge between Daniel and Varkonyi 2.0...at the YMCA in Brooklyn. The only detail left to iron out is getting Varkonyi 2.0 staked for the 2 million.Daniel is toast.

Do not disgrace Brooklyn by mention something of such garbage or inferior standars. Brooklyn is known around the U.S. for its class and superiority. That is all. Good day.

I've started two threads this year, propping up our man, Ted Lawson.. he has three cashes, actually.... it's time people stop hating on him, and start to realise he's got skillz

Ragging on a guy with 2 million dollars, I'm sure that will make him think twice about playing poker again. Stupid fool.
Doyle Brunson has most of that 2 million dollars.....
