accidently becoming an investor

I play alot at Royal Vegas Poker, mostly .25/.50 limit multi-tableing. Their bonus for playing alot is 2-3 daily $1000 free roll tourneys (max players = 1000, mostly doesnt hit that) as long as you have 100 raked hands in the past 24 hours. Well im easily hitting that playing at 2-3 tables at once, and my friend also plays on the site, but lost his money and cant afford to re-invest, but is a decent player. He lost mostly playing games out of his range. Well being in college and having a job and girlfriend, I dont have alot of time to play in the big tournies during the day, im mostly a night player, but offered to let my friend play in them if one is upcoming and taking half what he earns. I started playing in one today, got to about 4000 chips quickly, but the girlfriend was calling, so i had to go visit and let my friend take over. This was the first time he played for me, and is currently sitting 3rd in chips with 7 people left. First place is $250, second is $120, and it goes down from there, he's at least getting $30 as of right now, so without doing it on purpose, I staked a friend, and earned some money. A nice little anecdote I think, ill let ya know how much I made without spending alot of my time. Does anyone else think 50% of his earnings is fair? Or should I be getting more? (or less) :D

50% is the norm.
