On Friday I was playing in a home tournament w/ 8 guys. Two of us play very regularly, the other six were complete novices. I started out rolling, then once the blinds went up I caught super-cold cards, and we all know you can't bluff bad players, so I didn't try, and I just got blinded off. Anyways, it's down to 4 players and I am the short-stack w/ about 75 bucks. With the blinds at $10 $20 I'm in the BB w/ 7 :D 7 :D. I push in and get called by the chip-leader who had probably $200 or $250, which I guess is a reasonable call if he has overcards or a pair, but the mother-****** turns over 8 :) 4 :) . I should be thrilled by this, but I get this feeling in my gut like I'm done for - after all, he has an overcard. Wouldn't you know it, the flop comes down 8 4 X and I'm dead to a 7...
