being a prop isn't such an easy job. you need to be a good player, definitely a consistent winning player, otherwise it's a losing proposition. You get stuck in the tough games and short handed play most of the time, you'll lose your entire bankroll unless your good at it.

umm what exactly are props?Players paid by sites to play in certain games where they need players due to lack of a consistent playerbase.So they might pay you $10 per 100 hands of 5/10 or whatever to play in games where there is a demand for players.

Yeah i propped at PLanet this summer instead of working. It was tough work and a lot of hours to make a decent payday. But at least i didnt have to work over the summer!Any idea what company they go through? I may be interested in getting back into propping.

Poker Mountain already uses props (sfbob for instance). They sit on the $25 bellagio satellite waiting for others to shop up. I have yet to see a game played at that table though.
