What do yall think he will do when he gets drawn out in the remainder of the events. He has already dropped numerous f-bombs and kick over a chair. Just makes me wonder......whats next?

I think it's great. We need someone with a little personalitythat shows their emotions. The greatest poker moment I think I've ever seenwas when Phil hit the floor in the HU challengewhen Jesus drew to the full house on the river...lol

Clearly, he's gonna go Bobby Knight on someone's ass and throw a chair at them (and rightly so). I for one am sick and tired of getting beaten by a bunch of morons who suck out on me when they have less than three outs. "It's scary how unlucky I am in these things".

If he does swing a chair, I hope it hits Antonio, can you imagine the damage it would do to that stick.

He's just lucky he gets away with it.Try walking into a random casino and start screaming, then kick over a chair at a blackjack table. See what happens to you.Maybe they think he's not a threat to other customers because he's a white male in his 40s.............I affirm that its blatant racism on behalf of the RIO for allowing this type of outburst to occur repeatedly! (sw)Tell me if you hate Phil Hellmuth too, there doesn't seem to be a thread discussing this anywhere in the forum.

How can anyone hate Hellmuth? The man has 9 (count them...nine) WSOP titles to his name. He has more final tables than anyone (might have changed since the start of this years WSOP), and he is entertaining for poker (which is a good thing for ALL of us). It's just like JM playing tennis - he was good for the game, tantrums and all.

Maybe we should start a pool of the firstperson to be KO'd by a Hellmuth-thrownchair. ..My money's on the Unabomber. I can see a suckout on the river with some of the garbage he plays driving Phil over the edge...

Why the hell couldn't Cardplayer have been there with their cameras then? Were they too busy taping that assmuffler Rich Bellsky's day 19 wrap up?Maybe they're saving it for pay per view. Would be smart...
When I go to a fast food restaurant, and my order comes to $6.28, I like to give the cashier $18.71. They look at me and say 'What's this?' and I say 'I'm all in'. They usually fold.

The guy gets the worst suck outs against him. He has so much pressure on himself to break all the records with 9 bracelets and when he gets so close only to be badly outdrawn is enough to make a lot of people crack. People give him so much crap and call him a crybaby, but the same people highly respect Arieh and the other guys that behave the same way. Poker players are still people, and everyone has their own way of behaving in bad situations.

After his tantrum ends Phil is a gentleman. I was talking to him when the WPT was out in LA for the LA Poker Classic, and after he had one of his back-to-back tantrums (out for half an hour altogether), I was talking to him in the lobby and he was very level headed. I wouldn't act the way he acts, but I still think it's funny to watch!

...and not to mention that because of his reputation,I'm sure some lesser players are playing hands thatthey would usually consider marginal, at best, justhoping to be the cause of the meltdown...

14/77 or 9/30 or 10/27. Which is a better ratio of wins/cashes? http://pokerdb.thehe...r.php?a=r&n=117 http://pokerdb.thehe...er.php?a=r&n=44 http://pokerdb.thehe...er.php?a=r&n=34 The only reason that some people think that PH is the greatest thing since dominoes is that he keeps telling them that he is the greatest thing since, well, that he is the greatest thing.Phil is a strong hold'em tournament player. Probably one of top 20 today, and maybe the top hold'em tourney player of the past 20 years. But when he says things like "the measure of poker greatness is how many WSOP bracelets you have", well, I just want to vomit. Poker greatness? What about the many strong players who don't play as many tourneys as he has done? What about the 200+ all-around poker players that are better than he is?

I don't think the suck outs he gets are any worse than anybody else's; he just makes a bigger deal about them, so they get more camera time. I agree with Mike Caro that, if you take a tough beat, you should never tell the guy that put it on you what he did wrong. Why make him a better player? I remember Helmuth telling a guy last year, "A pro would never make that call." Why show him he was wrong calling with and catching a three outer, when the majority of the time you get that pot?Anyway, I like Helmuth a lot when he's not losing. Of course, that's when he's the most fun to watch.
I have a gambling problem...I suck at it!
