I just started to play SnG's more often lately cause I'm tired of all the swings at the .50/1.00 tables.. anyway.. I have only played in 2 tournaments that are 2-tables for $10. Normally it's just the $5 or $10 Sng's. Anyway, I figured it's gonna be twice as difficult to win these since it's more people, but I won my first one, and fairly easily... I got the chip lead and never looked back, just caught cards at the right times and busted people and kept adding to it and won it fairly easily. I hesitated to try again so soon though because I figured it was a fluke that it went so well and didn't want to get an ego about it, it was only one tourney. So I played another tonight and lost a hand very early on AJ to AQ, we both had 2 pair. It put me down to about 300 in chips... but I got back into it, around 900 and made my way from there... got to the final table with a slim chip lead again and made it heads up with 17.5k to 2.5k chip lead. (Then my computer disconnected and couldn't get it back) So I took 2nd, even though I should have won easily at this point.Point being, are they always going to go so well? Because I'm 2 for 2 now, and it just doesn't seem natural. Any thoughts on these 2 tablers?

Any thoughts on these 2 tablers?Nope. They DO tend to have more "dead money" in them though. Be prepared for the inevitable fluctuations though. You'll lose 10 in a row eventually even playing great.

That's what I wanna hear, lol! I've been running good lately with tournaments lately though. Not even good cards really, I think it just seems easy if you're playing well and you feel like you suck when you aren't on your game. Just a thought though. I know you should have a sample of 300 or so... but the past 3 days, I have played 11 tourney's total. And only lost 4. My ROI is 103%I understand that will never last, but it feels good right now.

When I book some sort of crazy +100BB day I'm a genius.Untill the next losing day anwyay.30% is a good RoI to shoot for.

I started off the exact same. Woke up one day feeling great. Started playing 10 dollar sitngo's.. i cashed in the first 4 I did.. then won the next 2, threw in a few 2nd places. And I was up like 100 dollars. Next day I couldn't win a single thing. Oh well.

I know the feeling when no matter how well you believe you are playing you just cannot win a hand in a low limit cash game (.50/ 1.00) or (1/2). your AA get chased to the river by 3 hands and it turns out you didnt even come in second.I think the best thing to do if you want to play any cash game is to sit at half tables. Like max 5 or 6. Sure the pots will be smaller but you can win many more pots.
