This actually didn't happen to me but to my homie who recently won a 150 dollar account on Truepoker, this new online casino, with excellent graphics and actual real avatars sitting around the table....So he's in a hand and raises with A-Ko, this is no limit of course, and gets called. Flop comes A-K-J. He has two pair so after check raising he goes all in for about 60 bones. Gets called down by Q-6 and the guy hits his 10 on the river...My favorite bad beat story of all time has to come courtesy of Tropics Poker another new site, that actually gives out a badbeat jackpot. Basically the recipient of the bad beat gets like 75 percent of the jackpot, the person who delivered the bad beat gets 15, and the rest of the people who participated in the hand get to share the rest. On this occasion the jackpot was at about 1800 dollars. I dunno the whole details of the hand but my friend had his quad sixes beaten by a royal straight flush (rules are that if a hand greater than AAA full of K's gets beat its considered a "bad beat") and ended up taking 1600 dollars. Hahah
