And even then I'm reaching. Last night, Pokerroom .25/.50 Limit Omaha Hi.On Button: A :D 4 :) 5 :D Q :) This table had been Incredible preflop, 4 hands before this it had been capped *9* ways preflop, the only folder... me :)Preflop: raised to me, I call 2 cold with position and a suited A... like I said, crazy table... re-raised and capped by the blinds, I go ahead and call 2 more (extremely loose, I know, but I just had won a big pot the hand earlier with a nut flush, and was feeling frisky) Capped 6 ways this time.Flop: 3 :) 6 :) J :) Not great, but I'm not feeling too bad about it. SB checks, BB leads, cold calls all around, including small blind, and me on my OESD. I'm getting 29-1 to call here, I gotta.Turn: K :D Interesting. SB wakes up and leads this time, BB calls, MP1 calls, all fold to me and I call again, this time with an OESD and gutshot, all to the nuts. Getting 18-1 again, I just felt I had to call. If they weren't to the nuts, I would have probably crawled home right then.River: 2 :club: Jackpot. SB leads again, BB calls, MP1 folds, I raise, call, call. 25BB pot. Any big postflop leaks? Should I have been raising anywhere, or was my thinking sound? I wouldn't have considered playing the hand at all if the table weren't so insane preflop, and I didn't have the button. SB was pissed, too :) Claimed to have KK62

Pre-flop, three to the wheel with one nut flush draw possiblity; very loose table. Yeah, I play this.Post-flop, just one bet to call into a monster pot - I call too. Turn, just one bet to call a monster pot - you have a four outer to the nut low. Your OESD if you hit could win high. Board hasn't paired, spades are the only flush draw. Easy call.River, BINGO!Nice Hand.

Actually, gobears, it was just Omaha Hi, not 8/B. Just now thought this was a massive 8/b hand, too. Rock on.

I'd be inclined to fold preflop, naturally. Calling two bets with that hand in Hi from the button isn't terrible, but knowing that you might have to call a cap to see it sucks.Rest of the hand is fine. There's no reason for you to do anything but call until the river, at which point your turn the flames up with the nuts.SB and several other players in this hand should stop playing Omaha immediately.

that's why I LOVE this game :club: They stink, and have no idea they stink. But yeah, folding preflop was definately the right play. Just amazed what was happening, even at Pokerroom I had never seen a 9-way capped preflop hand. People raising with JJ82, AQT6 single suited, etc. calling 3 cold wit 67T2 rainbow. It was awesome.

Now that I'm done clearing Party's bonus, I should look at PR's Omaha tables. If they play this badly at .25/.50, I imagine that 1/2 Omaha there is even more profitable than 1/2 Holdem. If you'll excuse me, I may have just made a small mess of myself!

Well, only one problem... finding a limit game over .25/.50 can be extremely challenging. Don't see the 1/2 tables going often. .50/.50 PL, however, is another gold mine :D You see the same sort of thing. But the .25/.50 routinely earn me 10-15 BB/100 sessions. I shouldn't be teeling you this, me and a guy named mijrepooc mine the place regularly. :club:

Oops - seems like all we get are O/8 hands, missed that it was just high.Pre-flop, I would fold this then without the low draw. But once you're in, then the post-flop, turn and river are fine as you're getting huge odds. Nice pot!

thanks, I kinda liked it :club: Especially since I'd been spewing all night (good example here, maybe, I gotta clean up my starting hands) at HE and Omaha, was down 39 BB, then in 2 hands, this one and the one before, I profited 43BB to end up $1.90 for the night. Went to bed relieved.

Did you notice you picked up a few more outs for another straight on the turn?Good hand, but shy away from drawing to straights with two to a flush on board in Omaha. You were right to call with the monster pot, though (as you've said).

Yeah, I saw that the 10 would win it for me too. I'm not that afraid of chasing a str8 with 2 to a flush, because I'm more than willing to fold that straight should the 3rd card come and someone convince me they have it. But thanks for the comments :club:
