Harrahs had no idea what hit them friday. they only had room for 500 people for the 500 nl tourney.. 100 person alternate list. only 1000 in chips and blinds start at 25 25.. and move every 40 min.... Dealers were untrained.. dealing less then 20 hands per hour...... terrible waiting b4 the tourney even started 2hours late.. they should be ashamed of putting the WSOP brand on this tourney... I am thinking about not playing in the 1000 on sunday since this was run sooooo poorly...

Wow. I was thinking about making the drive up there on Sunday just to hang out and watch some of the action - maybe now I'll definitely go, and bring some popcorn. :-)

They DO NOT CARE.If they could make the same amount of money with a one chip equal to the blind size tournament with poorly trained chips dealing and then flinging feces at the players they would. It's a sellers market for poer tournamanets atm, they're going to leverage the WSOP name they got when they bought Binions to the SKY./shrug.

I can confirm this. I just got back and completely agree. They were totally unprepared for the 600+ players that arrived. Harrah's employees had no clue what was going on. They could not answer simple questions about the tournament.Dealers were in fact slow and not getting many hands in per hour. Starting stack size was too small incomparison to the blinds. They better have all of this fixed by the $10k.
