$10 multi at Pokerstars. About 1150 entrants, (I know crazy but it's fun).So at 450 people remaining I have 12500 in chips, smashing my table and in 11th position overall and feeling good about it. Then it started to crumble. Two hands in row I get beat by suited runner runners, KK vs QJ and then my 99 tripped and caught some guy bluffing with 10/J.No problem, $hit happens, I still have 8000 and figure on a comeback, hey I'm playing good and still chip leader at my table, right? Uh uh, then it happened. I get moved to what look like the featured table. Suddenly I'm low guy, 5 of the top 20 are at this table. I'm thinking what the hell is going on?! So I figure I'll tighten up and play my game. So I sat there and folded crap cards for an hour, ugh. No pair, no Ax, no nothing. Dwindled to 5000. Got moved again and watched the cards roll by until I got to 2000 and pushed in with AK which got busted. Left at 126 out of 1150. 99 was money, not that it mattered. I realized I could have loosened up and tried some bluffs but feel confident I would have been busted, in a tourney like these the huge stacks love to call the bluff attempts and pick on the low chip guys, I know, I do it.So sometimes you just don't get the cards or or is it luck in these big MTT'S?

the site likes to give chip leaders the winning hand.. In my tournament today, playing for 4.58 thousand dollars (that i REALLY need to help my family out) and after a few bad beats, i get moved to a table with the tournament chip leader.. i raise pre-flop with QQ.. He re-raises a significant amount (he had been doing it every hand to push people out).. I put him on a lower pair, I raised all in, after some thought, he called.. He flipped over 55.. we both had a diamond.. but he had a club and i had a spade.. long story short, flop is 3 clubs, turns a club, and im out 30 dollars.. i know it gets old complaining the sites are rigged, but its bullshit.

Yikes. What were the blinds? Im sure they were pressing u pretty hard before you got down to 2000 in chips. Once your stack dwindles to less than ten times the BB it is move time. You may not like it but you have to move in and take blinds. So what if u get called...maybe u double up and get right back in there. Any two live cards will do. Pick ur spot and go for a ride sooner next time especially if just making the money doesnt matter.

firstly you have no clue of the buyin for the tournament, you have no clue how many people there were, or anything about me or anything i do. Yes, i know its stupid to believe they are secretly plotting against me. But if i want to say something when I am mad, then I will do that. Thanks.

yes, i have had some lucky beats as well.. and to assume that i like to "whine" because I "gamble and lose" is ridiculous, considering the fact that i am complaining in one post about a beat that just happened. I personally suggest you refrain from replying to my posts and keep your opinions to yourself

personally i have to agree with x3000. im sick of people complaining about bad beats like theyre some new phenomenon. this is part of poker that always must be accounted for. if you play poker for a long enough time, you will inevitably go through periods of some of the most horrible cards youve ever dreamt. second bests, bad beats, you name it. if you cant withstand the pressure of these times and learn and play your game, youre gonna suck. youre gonna suck cause youre always gonna think its the cards thats losing for you, not yourself. if you never take the blame or make improvements, youll never get better. end of story. fortunately there are many poker players of this nature online, handing there money out to the better players in a steady, healthy diet. so finally, some good comes of the idiots of the world......
