Dhall901 0
I'm wondering if I could have made more money on this hand, here is the scenario: .05/.10 ring gameEP raises to .50I call .50 with 10 10 LP raises to .90BB calls .90EP calls, I call.Pot is 4.75Flop Q K A Ep bets .10I call .10 LP raises to 1.00BB calls 1.00Ep calls 1.00I'm screaming pot odds here as I call 1.00 and pray for a JackPot is 8.75Turn J BB checksEP ChecksAt this point I go all in trying to represent a bluff, and tryin to get the LP to think his Ace is goodLP does indeed call with AQ, but the BB and EP fold (another 15 or so dollars I could have maybe picked up had I not went all in?)I think I made an amatuer mistake throwing 8 dollars into an 8 dollar pot, perhaps I should have maybe bet @2.00, I surely would have gotten raised..or would a small raise have given my 10 away? I thought the strength move would have shown weakness, trying to buy, you know? I'm not sure..some suggestions would be appreciated.ThanksD

bannedit 0
I actually think you played it perfectly. You have to put the money in the middle in this situation. theres a diamond draw on the board if it hits you are in some real trouble. You knew that and took action to prevent being out drawn.Your allin move is perfect in my opinion you manipulated the pot so that calling was no longer correct for a call with a possible diamond draw. As for the call with the pair of aces that was just plain over playing his hand. But it worked out well for you.
Smasharoo 0
I think I made an amatuer mistake throwing 8 dollars into an 8 dollar potNo the amature mistake would be slowplaying here giving a diamond draw odds to call.Your line is fine.

TJ_Eckleburg 0
I agree.Nothing wrong with a pot-sized bet into multiway raised action with the nuts. I've found that the biggest pots I win is when I value bet the winning hands and get raised by second place hands. I don't "trap" so much to be sneaky... I think it's far more profitable to bet your winners and hope to get raised.
