$1/$2 FullTiltPreflop: econ_tim7 folds, SB raises, econ_tim calls.Flop: (4 SB) [2h 3s 3d]SB checks, econ_tim SB calls.Turn: (3 BB) [Qc]SB checks, econ_tim checks.[b]River: (3 BB) [9c][b]SB bets, econ_tim ...I normally like to have suited cards or big cards to defend the blind, but thought I would try this out. Plus, SB took a long time to hit the raise button, so I didn't think he had a premium hand, although he could have been distracted. When it's HU between the blinds, should BB always bet the flop? I get a lot of people to fold here if I raised preflop and they called, but this is the reverse.Should I bet the turn, since the Q is probably a scare card for SB?On the river I raise because he probably thinks I was just taking a shot on the flop, and that his A or K high is good.

I probably play it the same. I'd rather defend with T9o than, say, 92s.I like the river value raise against a typical opponent, there's a decent chance he will call with A-high. Of course, you're in trouble if he 3-bets - I probably make the crying call.
Then you go to da box for 2 minutes by yourself, you feel shame... then you get free.

I would just call the river bet unless you think he will call with A-high. Hes folding bluffs and call/raise-ing better hands.

Heads up I'll probably defend with any face card (including a 10), any two suited cards, any ace, and even some offsuit connectors. Soooo many steal raises, but that might be a bit loosishI also dislike the river raise unless you think he has either a 2 or a bluff...maybe raise an extreme LAG, but he didn't bet til the end
Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.
