Well what line would you have suggested?
i believe I suggested numerous lines to take in your original thread that I think would have been better.

[quote name='"if your trying to win the tournament' date=' fold.[/quote'] If you watch all the succesful tournament players except maybe Hellmuth, they are not afraid to play big pots, especially as the favorite. This should tell you something. Doyle, Ivey, Negraneau etc all will put their money in if warranted. To me having a big stack is essential to winning tournaments, early or not you can't be afraid to call with the best hand.
CD: Is there a limit that makes you play differently?

Phil Ivey: I haven’t seen one yet. I always want to play as high as I possibly can. I’d like to play $8,000-$16,000 . You can’t be afraid to lose. There may be some players who have the ability to play higher and could play and compete in our games, but they are afraid of losing money. They feel that they don’t need it. I say, “Well, what’s the point of living?” If you can do it, and you believe that you can do it, I say go for it.

DN is propbably one of the most agressive players in the world and that is why he is #36 in the world ranking so im sure he had a good reason for doing that, and im sure if he had to do it again he would.

Valente, how can u fault Daniel for making the RIGHT play? He knew what his opponent had and he made the correct play based on the information. U dont win tournaments by folding 60% edges. Better spot? Ud b hardpressed to find a better spot then that. By the way how well did u do in that tournament?

Are 4000-8000 the highest limits around. I did here there was a 10 million dollar cash game at Bellagio once, but I am not sure how high the limit games go in Vegas.

I retract my original statement, I have played in a few more tourneys, from the WSOP to online tourneys.. and will be participating in the UB Aruba.. Daniels play was 100% correct, especially since he knew his opponent.I would now make the same play, if I knew my opponent as well as Daniel did. If Daniel wins that hand he is a favorite to win that tourney.. against someone else I would have layed it down because he still had a ton of chips.Great Play Daniel, and thanks for the insight.

No, wait. Maybe they're on to something. You should wait for the stone cold nuts before you go all in because you're a better player. See? Why risk anything if you're the better player. Wait for the nuts, and then you don't have to risk anything. Why? Because you're the better player and can outplay them......by waiting for the stone cold nuts and THEN going all in.That'd take a lot of skill. Outskill them by going all in with the nuts. Waiting for the nuts.... Very skillful.
