2. Braveheart
3. Maverick
4. Lethal Weapon
5. Lethal Weapon 2
6. Mad Max

I don't' think a single one of those movies you mentioned is great. I think Braveheart is the best out of that bunch ( i haven't seen Ransom) but it's aggressively corny. Signs is hot trash.

Respectfully:

Crimson Tide has to be 2 or 3.

Iíll allow that Training Day was a Denzel vehicle and possible #1, even though it was over the top, but Crimson Tide is a top 10 movie of all time, for me. The acting is just so good, subtle, and the tension, the looks. Itís just a brilliantly done movie

And I LOVE Man on Fire, but itís also heavy handed.

Glad to see Glory made the list

I'm shocked that Malcolm X isn't on the list. Figured that was right in your wheel house.

I didn't make any commentary, I was just expressing surprise. I know you like historical drama's, and Washington's performance was nominated for an Oscar, and I know you follow oscar nominated movies closely. Geez, seems like an overreaction to me, buddy.

Was Book of Eli really that good? I know that I've seen it once, but I can't think of a single memorable thing about that movie. Maybe I need to go back and watch it.

Flight is missing out here, if not for the opening degenerate sequence alone.
I'd lend a hand, but it's stuck in the fist and gun position.

It's probably an unpopular opinion, but I enjoyed American Gangster. It would crack my top 10, albeit rather low.

I also think Deja Vu is underrated, although probably not top 10 worthy.
