I値l be in AC looking to play a super sat or two trying to get into the big one on Jan 16th at Harrah痴. I would love to debate/discuss strategies on how ppl approach these events; I知 expecting a field of no less then 250 with a good number of players rebuying without a second thought. I知 not looking to spend 1K on a 200 rebuy tournament but am realistic about doing what it takes if I find myself at in a favorable situation/table.I think they said the starting chips would be 500, with blinds at 25/25 and 20 min levels, if anyone knows more then this or the correct numbers please let me know.Loose early looking to double?Tight early looking to commit with one hand and double? How do ppl please these with success....? I知 not gonna lie, I知 lost with Re-buy tourneys.

The first three rounds of blinds are ussually like watching WPT. All in, all in, all in, all in.See cheap flops if you can and push if you hit a monster, you'll get called. Maybe in more than one place.

Yeh re-buy structure changes things a bit, and I don't really like them myself. The main thing to do, which Smash mentioned, is basically get in for cheap, and bet big when you have a good hand. If you sense weakness from late position, raise it up and steal the blinds, every little bit helps. You'll be able to see who those players are who are easily intimidated at your table. Take note and use it to your advantage later.I usually find that the middle rounds are the hardest because the blinds are creeping up and if you aren't on a big stack it's a bit diffuclt to steal blinds and push people around. However, if you hold tight and push hard when you have a good hand you'll be fine.
