I got a wife and a baby on the way along with my job. I dont have the time or will to travel to "prove to internet people in poker". They are more than welcome to come to my area.

I simply talk about how I know 1 guy inside and out in his poker thinking. Again: ONE Guy... number is 1, aka one. ONE guy that Iv played with many times who always shows his hands.

And it seems people dont understand this. ONE familiar guy who always gives me information.

And of you wont make moves on such an easy target? Then no way you are profitable.

ya, but your view on a lot of things in poker is horrendous and if you played against people who were actually good, you would get destroyed. just saying.

Because a view on 1 or 2 shitty players means thats my overall view on poker. God I would LOVE to play vs people on here.

Mr. EAPaaron,

Would you like me to take the time to mathematically breakdown the hand? We can see if the play has a negative or positive expectation.

Let me know.

Cordially,

James

Throughout your time posting on this forum there are several things which you have said that would lead us to believe you have a fundamental misunderstanding of some concepts. I won't right now, but if needed I could quote a few posts from the last few weeks as evidence.

And you can play vs these guys. Either play online or put together a few thousand dollars and play Donk4Life HU in real life. No jokes. Either set something up or drop it. You accuse them of being internet tough guys, but you're doing the same thing. The difference is, I believe they will actually play you for small-ish stakes online or would travel to you if the money was right.

Math is 100% everything in poker and all LMAO!!! You must not play much live.

Did Stu Ungar call an all in for 80% of his own stack with 10 high and win when he knew his opponents hand was weaker that one time?. Because math was involved there???? Math tells you put 80% of your stack on the line calling an all in with 10 high?

I never thought my thinking was that far advanced than the people here. I assumed there would be poker fanatics on this forum who really understood every aspect of poker. All I keep seeing is math, math, math. +/- EV and so on and nothing else, just like everybody else at my poker table who constantly talk about that. I eat those people for lunch at my table.

This forum isnt worth my time. Most of you are on the same level as any other "follow the math only" players I encounter in person.

This is the absolute last post I ever make on this dead forum.

Bye bye idiots!

FCP Fall Classic Detroit 2012 ??

November 9-11 2012 ??

I'd be willing to cover a hotel room or two, and help out on some travel/expenses as well.

Based on the info I found, the Holiday Inn Express is only about 12 minutes from the alley. Also, based on the OP posts, some of the "kids" here posting would need to be over 18 or get your parents to come along. BTW - I can't/won't cover parents, unless you have a MILTF.

I've never been to Detroit. Would be a nice weekend getaway. I've got too much work going on to set a sooner date, and wife will be out of town that weekend too. :)

Thoughts??

I'm a "Detroiter". The reason for the quotes is everyone in SE Michigan is a "Detroiter".

All (well earned) reputation and cheap shots aside, you could do a lot worse than a weekend getaway to play in Detroit. I don't get out a lot to play these days, but if you decide to come to town I'll give any advice on places to stay and play while you're here. I'll even vow to meet you and buy the first round. This town will likely pleasantly surprise you in some ways - especially the casinos. It can also live up (down) to its reputation.

Don't count on OP actually showing up to a challenge. Sounds like he is a typical short stacking no BR hit & run donk.

I need to get out and find this guy.

You keep saying this ITT, but the truth is you DIDN'T read him correctly. You admit that you didn't put him on a monster pre-flop. You were dominated pre-flop and had no idea just how dominated you were. He played you pre and you got lucky to flop trips (72:1)

You apparently don't know him as well as you think since you grossly underestimated his pre-flop holdings.

Hey bro, Aaron got unlucky that the flop didn't come 578 so he could have folded him off his kings and played like a champ.

OP is almost certainly the guy who 4 bet shoved on me with 64 suited preflop and won against my AA. Soul read imo
"We had all the momentum. We were riding the crest of a high and beautiful wave. So now, less than five years later, you can go up on a steep hill in Las Vegas and look west, and with the right kind of eyes you can almost see the high-water mark, that place where the wave finally broke and rolled back." —Raoul Duke, Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas
