Hey guys. After I had my money lost in the full tilt scandal I decided to not play online poker anymore, but now I want to start playing again. Is there a way around the U.S. restrictions on pokerstars or do I have to play at one of the sites that still accept us players? I see that over 175k people are on pokerstars right now so I feel like there is a way around it. If anyone knows or has advice for me please respond. Thanks

The only way for an American to play at Stars is to move to another country.

PokerStars very actively searches out players who circumvent the restrictions and freezes their accounts. Currently the Merge network is your best bet. It's no PokerStars but it is a decent enough place to play.

Revolution poker (Lock poker) is also an option. Formerly Cake network.
