Kreider with the game-winning-goal in game 6 was pretty huge. Probably more exciting for him than, say, being in Spanish class.

I really want Florida to get the goal here in OT. I like seeing the arena full of fans standing for every play, very into it.

so the league owns St Louis and Phoenix and they might have New Jersey at the end of the playoffs.

What does everyone think will happen in the East? Really doesn't seem to be a clear favourite. NYR has to be the favourite based on their regulation season, but they certainly looked vulnerable against Ottawa. As always, it'll come down to Lundqvist I guess. Washington has the scoring (usually), and if Holtby continues channeling Jim Carey, they can beat anyone. Philly might be tired and hungover from beating Pittsburgh, and they can't keep giving up 5 goals a game. Was their offense that good, or Pittsburgh's D/Goaltending that bad? They beat the favourite, so are they the new favourite?I don't think NJ really has a chance to win two series, so they don't get a write-up.Bet365 has the Rangers and Flyers at 2.7, and the Devils and Capitals at 5.75.

In the West, St. Louis would seem to be the favourite, though the Kings and Preds both looked very strong knocking off very good teams. Chicago had its holes, but Phoenix looked good knocking them off as well. Any team that doesn't defend exceptional well won't have a chance, so it may come down to the team that is able to get some offensive momentum.Seems like an odd thing to predict given the teams are very similar, but I have a feeling neither Western series goes 7 games, and they could both be over in 5.bet365 has the Predators at 2.85, which I think is very aggressive, Blues at 3, Kings at 4 and Coyotes at 6.5. I think the Preds and Kings are too high. I will likely put a small bet on the Coyotes over the Predators at 2.5.
Long signatures are really annoying.

Mine as well, with Philly and Nashville advancing to the Cup Final.

Everyone's been doubting all year long, but this is St. Louis' year.

Very interesting - the 3 betting sides I checked all have different favourites!Bet365 is favouring the Preds, Ladbrokes is favouring the Rangers, Pinnacle is favouring the Blues.

That's funny. I'm rooting for the East.Philly over JerseyNashville over PhoenixThe others I'm not sure.LA beat Vancouver without one Sedin for a few games. Quick was great.St. Louis beat San Jose easily but I think San Jose did some of that for them. Maybe no one will figure them out and they'll dominate everyone.Nashville did add a lot of "playoff bodies" so I think they've got the best chance in the west.Philly / Giroux showed what they were all about against the Pens. I think they toast New Jersey and await the banged up winner of the other series.New York barely hung on against Ottawa. Maybe it was just a matchup thing. Maybe Ottawa just came out so hard and New York was just happy to squeak by. Hank will probably decide the series.Washington surprised a lot of people. Maybe Boston's season was too long with last year and drama from this year and they were banged up prior to the playoffs. The coach has them buying in and doesn't bow down to his stars. This could be another series where all the games are decided by one goal.

I would be surprised if New Jersey even takes a single game from Philly, they don't match up well at all against the Flyers game. I foresee a bunch of 4-1 and 5-2 decisions on the way to a Flyers sweep.

I bet Brodeur averages 3 attempts to score per game with Bryzgalov in net.

I'm definitely rooting for the west this year, though I could definitely get behind the Caps as well. now that pittsburgh is out, I'm going to completely alter my predictions and say Phoenix wins the cup.I could easily see any of the 4 teams in the west winning the conference though.

I make a lot of crazy predictions..But Rangers over Kings in Finals is still looking solid. And good luck Arp on the LA Stanley Cup bet..If its a large one, hedging is a good idea
I am a huge Leafs fan, I am not going to apologize for my love of the greatest team on earth.
