I was thinking about it the other when playing one of these $2k SCOOPs that have a really deep structure and really favour the stronger players. I was telling my friend how my edge over a mediocre regular in these events is so much bigger than a normal $55 freezeout with a relatively fast structure and that Jason Merciers edge over me again is probably pretty decent even though (obviously) I think quite highly of my game.I think that someone of your technical ability you have to have at least a 400% ROI with the absurd structure/runners the WSOP ME gets. But I think as you individually because of who you are as well as personality etc it is far far larger than that - I wouldn't be surprised if there was some magic way to see your ROI in the tournament if it were double what say <insert relatively unknown online sicko here> ROI is despite similar skills at betting.I'll pry a little further - any staking scores you can brag about??

How many events, cashes and bracelets do you expect at this years WSOP? My guesses ...... 17 events, 7 cashes & 1 bracelet.Edit: Probably a little low on the number of events you are going to play based on watching your last weekly rant.

Daniel,You seem to be one of the leading knowledgeable forefronts in the poker industry. I had a question regarding online poker and recent articles about Neveda being as close to 6-7 months out from providing an online poker service within the US again. Can you tell me, if you know, will online players outside the state of Nevada be able to participate in online gaming once it's available? Or will the player have to live within the confines of the state of Nevada?Kevin Ellis

Hello Daniel, I'm Nam, a student from France who play poker for fun.Since last year my group of friends, we are doing a WSOP draft. A snake draft. We are ten and every player have to choose 12 players including a french player. It's a 50 bucks draft (euro actually)The rules are: -100 pts for a bracelets -60 pts for runner up - 30 pts for Final Table - 10 for ITM.

All Points are worth *1.5 in events with a 10k buy in or higher

I was 8th to choose and to my mind, I have a good team.

In order:

Daniel Negreanu

Daniel Alaei

David Chiu

George Lind II

Jon Turner

Erik LindgrenRichard AshbyRobert MizrachiDavid Benyamine, my french player I was very happy to be able to draft David as 9thTom MarcheseEric Buchman, I was very surprises nobody choosed Eric last year in your 25K draft. He seems to cashs evry year and plays variantes.Franck Kassela.Las year, I already had Alaei, Chiu and you in my team and was pretty tilted about your bad run when i wad reading your twitter, especially for the 10K Limit Holdem . It's gonna to be another story this year for Alaei and you, I hope.My question is:What do you think about this team and if it is the right choice with this system of pts. I mean, focus a lot on +10k horse player.Do you know if Alaei, Benyamine, Lindgren and you, are gonna to play as many events as last year.My friend Armand, draft a very good team too, I think.Shawn Buchannan, Scott Clements, David "bakes" Baker, Mike Binger, Matt Glantz, Eric Froelich, John Monette, David odb Baker, Men The Master, Dan Heimiller, Roger Harabedian his franchplayer. What team do you prefer the most? Thanks for you answer and maybe one day I will be able to afford to participate to your 25K draft.Btw, sorry for my english I have a scientist background and learnd it mostly in TV show.

Hey daniel it seems on twitter that Matt Marafioti may not be able to enter the US in time for the WSOP. Whats this going to do for the people who chose him in FCP fantasy pool, and is there a way we can change our pick.

Hey Daniel,I got a question about fixed limit heads up poker.Consider these 2 situations,Situation 1:You are dealer with 8dAd.You raise preflop, opponent calls.Flop = 8h7h5copponent checks, you bet, opponent calls.Turn = 4hopponent checks, you bet, opponent calls.River = 2dopponent checks, what do you do?Situation 2:You are dealer with 8dAd.You raise preflop, opponent calls.Flop = 8h7h5copponent checks, you bet, opponent calls.Turn = 2dopponent checks, you bet, opponent calls.River = 4hopponent checks, what do you do?---------------In other words, how should the street that the scare card comes on affect your river play? What % of the time would you bet the river in each situation?

Welcome to all the new FCP members! Daniel would you recommend a few tips to the new FCPers on how they can get involved in the FCP forums?

Hi Daniel,Have you gone down the big water slide at Atlantis in the Bahamas? Will you do hair implants or lasik for you eyes? No disparagement about your appearance. I was just wondering if there were issues you saw to these treatments other than the cost - which to most of us would be a stopping point.

Hey Daniel, Tuf world series in fact I see that according to the Quadjacks database you're down a quarter mil at the WSOP(not including bracelet bets...ouch). Well lets hope you can turn that bad luck frown upside down on the one drop(crosses fingers). I was watching your rant(great vids) and I saw that in your tour of Pokerstars you said that this was the first time you've ever been to the HQ? Really. Just collecting paychecks? I mean especially after black Friday I would have made an appointment to go to the HQ ASAP. That's a lot of blind faith or tons of I don't give a ****. Maybe a combination of both.

Daniel I'm your biggest fan ,and also a poker player at heart and to the bone,I just love the game.I'm Canadian, and patriotic and so admire how you wear your flag on your shirt, when and where ever you are playing.I am also a big fan of the way you call a spade a spade, and have such a great presence at the table,and.... a Leaf diehard ,what else can I say.Myself I am a world renouned artist in my field and have never seen a portrait of you done anywhere ,not sure if you have had one done yet but should you ever concider it I would love to do one for you.Maybe you have a charity you support etc. but it would be an honour to do one and if you haven't had one ever done I think it is long over due. This is my first post here, I have been pondering for a while how to contact you and finally decided to just post hoping you would read this.Sorry if I posted this and it isn't appropriat here. Good luck and show them whos boss at the WSOP,I'm hoping for a great year for you.Ron Gibbs
