yep...iran has NEVER invaded another country, what's the US' record?the islamic rev was a direct result of UK and US orchestrating a coup that overthrew the democratically elected gov. like i said in another post, i guess all these atrocities commited by the US are worth 9/11's, right? is that your logic?

We've actually been in 125 military conflicts since WWII, so our record is probably more like 145-4-6.I would count Somalia as a loss, and probably Vietnam. Korea was more of a tie.

pretty sure sure we didn't lose 1812...that was when the Bristish came back to burn Washington and get their asses kicked one more time correct. Actually if i remember correctly the US declared war on england over shipping rights or whatever...i know it didn't work out well for them. didn't they lose it in New Orleans?
"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America 's debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the US Government cannot pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government's reckless fiscal policies. Increasing America 's debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that, "the buck stops here.' Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better."

No The War of 1812 started when the US invaded Canada in an attempt to take us over. The US wasn't successful in that plan.

hmmm i think you have been drinking to much molson...i did a little very quick search and you are right...but wrong. Canada wasn't Canada, it was a colony of England...so it was England.... it was where the first battle was because well 200 yrs ago it took awhile to get to places and that was the quickest place to fight the british...from there the battle swept thru the US and onto the seas. The english colony of canada was fairly irrelevant to the big picture! Good try but i believe you have to exist to take credit for winning...ot losing as in this case.
