We did a trial pool 2 years ago and I think all that were involved enjoyed it. I don't know why we didn't continue it this year but I'm interested in doing one for 2012.Here's how our 2010 league ran:- We had 8 teams in the league- Each team drafted 12 players (Can be anyone, US, Euro, doesn't matter)- Each week you dressed 6 players (Not all of your players played every week. Some weeks guys couldnt field a full lineup)- You received points based on where your player finished in the tourney (ie. You got 7 points if your player won, 5 points for 2nd, 3 points for top 10, 2 points for top 25, 1 point for a made cut)- You received bonus points if your player had the low round of the day- If your team scored the most points in a week, then you received 24 points, 2nd got 16, 3rd got 12, 4th/5th got 10, 6th got 6, 7th got 2, 8th got 0A few specifics:- This will not be a keeper league- The draft will be a snake draft style, not an auction- If you want to join, please be in for the long haul. The season will consist of between 30-35 tournaments- The above rules are not set in stone. Those were for our 2010 pool and are just a guideline and will most likely be tweaked.- PGA Q-School ends on Dec. 5th and I'll be on vacation until Dec. 10th so I'd suggest we start the draft (message board) on Dec. 12th at the latest1. I even tracked him down on Absolute but he paid after a week or two. Now I am confused.Okay seriously now. It took a week or 2 to pay up. I am assuming we are paying upfront first before we move forward. So I don't think that will be an issue. Posted my situation on the sports betting thread as quickly as possible, paid as soon as I returned home, and never had an issue before or after. I'm sure Kobe or Pilly can vouch for me. Don't take it personally. If it is a situation where everyone is paying first, AND a survivor type thing (i.e. no draft where someone not paying and drafting would ruin things), then I'm sure you've been vouched for enough.I will vouch that gocubsgo will not somehow pay, then mysteriously draw back his money if he loses. Likely though, I know so little about golf that I couldn't even feel good if I won, and with baby Owen probably coming sooner rather than later, I won't have much time to follow my picks, which is all the fun!
